Over the weekend I was desperately looking for something to do with my kids that they've never done before. So, I was googling Knoxville events for the weekend and I ran across something amazing, intriguing and something from my childhood. It was a "Where's Waldo" scavenger hunt!! Yes, you read that right! Apparently last year they had the same event but it only lasted for a week. So, this year they decided to host the event for the whole month of July. So, you still have some time to take advantage of this awesome thing. So, let me tell you a little bit about my experience and information of this event.
There are a total of 36 Waldo's in 36 different Downtown Knoxville companies. I'm pretty sure the majority of the businesses that the Waldo's were located in were locally owned non franchise businesses. Which is AMAZING! Appraisal: An estimate of the quality or value of real estate as of a given date, done by a professional appraiser. (Most real estate transactions are contingent on appraisal unless otherwise stated)
Closing Costs: Fees paid at the end of the transaction by either buyer and or seller. They can include some of the following; taxes, insurance, other lender expenses, etc.
Earnest Money/Trust Money: A deposit made by the buyer to show the seller a good faith in following through with transaction. That amount should be determined when you make your offer on a house.
Home Inspection: A thorough examination of the house you're purchasing, done by the inspector of your choice. (If problems are found it is up to the buyers agent and sellers agent to mediate any repairs wishing to be done in order to move forward with the purchase.
